Jennifer Fu Carney, MD

Dr. Jennifer Fu Carney, MD is a board-certified hematology and oncology physician and serves as the chief of hematology and oncology at the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group where she has been recognized by Castle Connolly on two peer-nominated lists of Top Doctors® and America’s Top Doctors®. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the American Cancer Society’s pacific region.

Dr. Carney graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine where she earned her Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) and completed her residency at UNC Hospitals. She completed her fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of Michigan.

In addition to her role as chief of hematology and oncology, Dr. Carney serves as principal investigator for oncology clinical trials in Kaiser Permanente’s Hawaii region while also serving on the board of directors for the American Cancer Society, Pacific Region.

Prior to her role at the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group, Dr. Carney was an assistant professor at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine’s department of medicine and OBGYN.
