Dr. Deb Friesen is an internal medicine physician and the host of Kaiser Permanente’s Health Views with Deb Friesen podcast. She is also physician advisor for customer clinical solutions for national sales and account management.
Dr. Friesen trained at the University of Colorado, including a chief residency year. She is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and recently received her MBA with honors from the University of Denver.
Dr. Friesen was in private practice for 11 years before joining Kaiser Permanente. She served on the board of directors of the Colorado Permanente Medical Group for five years and was board chair for two of those years.
Now known as Dr. Deb, she shares the story of Kaiser Permanente’s integrated care and coverage model. She also consults and presents on wellness and workplace health, chronic care management, preventive and maintenance care, medication adherence, and behavior change.
