Dr. Alex Menter, MD, is the Excellence in Cancer Care physician lead for the Colorado Permanente Medical Group. He is also the Regional Chief of Hematology Oncology, and the lead principal investigator for oncology clinical trials.
Dr. Menter did his pre-med studies at Saint Olaf College in Minnesota before obtaining his Medical Degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He then completed his internal medicine residency, and Hematology Oncology fellowship at the University of Colorado.
Dr. Menter has been a principal investigator for oncology clinical trials in Colorado for more than 10 years. He has presented research abstracts at the American Society of Clinical Oncology’s annual meeting and co-authored publications in the Lancet, the Journal of Clinical Oncology, and Clinical Lung Cancer.
