Carlene A. Davis is Principal of Strategy Muse Coaching and Consulting, Director of Strategy & Evaluation for California Black Women’s Health Project, and Co-Founder of Sistahs Aging with Grace & Elegance – an organization dedicated to empowering Black women with information, strategies, and resources to successfully age in place and community. Through outreach, education, research, and advocacy, Sistahs Aging with Grace & Elegance addresses the social, economic, health, and housing disparities negatively impacting Black women’s aging experiences and develops culturally specific community solutions to support Black women with thriving along every stage of the aging journey.
With expertise in the public, non-profit and volunteer sectors, Ms. Davis brings a comprehensive portfolio of competencies in project management, program design and evaluation, training and curriculum development, strategic planning and facilitation, community engagement and capacity building, organizational development and policy and advocacy.
A native Angeleno, Carlene graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Political Science and received an MPA from the University of Texas at Austin LBJ School of Public Affairs. Ms. Davis is also an alumnae fellow of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Culture of Health Leaders Program.
