Aana Brenman, MD, is the newly appointed Regional Medical Director for Geriatrics and Extended Care for Kaiser Permanente Northern California. She is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician who continues to actively care for patients as a primary care provider at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco. Over her 23 years in practice, she has had the privilege of supporting patients as they age—an experience that sparked her “geri-passionate” commitment to advancing care for older adults. Dr. Brenman earned her medical degree from New York Medical College and is a Cecil Cutting Leadership Awardee and Black Belt certified in Performance Improvement. In her current role, she is excited to focus on reimagining care across the continuum to provide comprehensive, wraparound support for aging adults and the people who care for them.
