Juraj Kavecansky, MD, is a medical oncologist based in Walnut Creek and Antioch in Northern California. He serves as the co-chair of the Kaiser Permanente National Gynecologic Oncology Group, and regional medical oncology lead for Gynecologic Oncology at Kaiser Permanente in Northern California. He is passionate about improving patient care through research and is a principal or co-investigator on multiple clinical trials for gynecologic cancers, as well as on outcomes research projects focusing on disparities in care and survivorship funded by the National Institutes of Health and Kaiser Permanente.
Dr. Kavecansky earned his medical degree and residency in internal medicine from The Ohio State University. He completed his fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at New York University and joined Kaiser Permanente in 2017.
